We had an AMAZING day today! We started out with breakfast at Coco’s and then got on the bus and headed to Hacienda Guachipelin in Rincón del la Vieja National Park. We all got to go tubing down Río Negro, which was incredibly refreshing and exciting. Then, we had lunch in the grass and had some impromptu arm wrestling matches.

Upon returning to the Villa, we got to play in the pool, shoot some hoops, relax, identify the wildlife we’ve seen, and make some friendship bracelets.

Tomorrow the group splits up! Half of the group will head to El Silencio de Tilarán to do community service and the other half will stay here at the Villa to participate in some more water and cultural activities. We are super excited that we are starting the next part of this adventure.
